Reduction of Plastic Packaging: A Significant Step
In the last two years, Powermints has made significant progress in reducing plastic packaging. We have managed to reduce plastic consumption by a full 65%. This was achieved by switching to cardboard packaging made from recycled paper or using recyclable plastic for our packaging.
But we are not stopping there. Our goal is to further reduce plastic consumption to sustainably minimize our environmental impact.
Tinplate Cans: Sustainable Packaging for a Better World
Another cornerstone of our sustainability strategy is the use of tinplate cans. 80% of our total production takes place in these recyclable metal packages. Tinplate is infinitely recyclable and has an impressive recycling rate of 97% in Germany. With this, we actively contribute to reducing waste and conserving valuable resources.
