1981

wiefrisch – Purity for all senses. Our first brand of mints enters German pharmacies

1982

Our new brand ‘odeomed’ launches in Denmark

1986

 As founder and first producer of the brand FRISK, the company launches a brand that substitutes the liquid breath freshener.

1989

Riding on the same wave – but changing location. The new Headquarters are transferred to the production site in Enger, Germany. 

1992

Neuer Standort – große Visionen. Erweiterung der Produktionshallen. New production site – bigger ambitions! The company extends its production facilities.

1996

The brand ‘frésh’ is launched, which will become one of Powermints’ greatest success stories and major brands, which was sold in over 30 countries worldwide.

The family grows:  Compass – The brand of Powermint’s future. Now metal tins are being filled with breath mints.

2004

A larger family requires more space. A further extension of the production facilities is build.

2005

Introduction of the IFS certification. Our standard – then as now.

2007

Modernisation of the tablet production. We move with the times – efficiently and sustainably

Our breath freshening mints are now available in more than 40 countries in over four continents.

2011

New shareholders. Takeover by TSC Holding GmbH and Gregor Leichtfried. The year of birth of Powermints GmbH. New visionaries – more power.

2013

Relaunch of our brand ‘Compass’. With a new modern design the way gets paved for the growth of our most important brand.

2015

Another fresh addition to our house. The brand ‘Frésh Active’ is being launched. The characteristics: Active – Aromatic – Balanced. All for the purity in life.

2017

Full throttle into a future full of possibilities. Gregor Leichtfried takes over Powermints GmbH as the sole shareholder via his Holding The Fine Food Company GmbH.

2022

Dual Managing Directors

Sandra Ruhkieck and Jannis Theileis are now the dual managing directors. As branch manager, Sandra Ruhkieck is primarily responsible for the HQ site in Enger, Germany. Jannis Theileis, on the other hand, will be responsible for sales, purchasing and marketing.
